“What Doesn’t Kill Me Makes Me Stronger”

Hello there! My name is Mary Wheeler – I’m 20 years young (cliche, I know) and a junior at the University of Minnesota studying Family Social Science and Psychology. I am an aspiring writer and couple and family therapist (hoping to focus in family trauma, resulting from both physical and psychological factors). My goal in life is to be content and happy, while bringing happiness and joy to those around me. I am a passionate person who tries to give more than I receive. My tendency to follow my heart over my brain can get me into trouble, but I have found my experiences are more fulfilling that way. I drink way too much coffee and laugh enough for many.
This blog is simply my thoughts, hopes, dreams, reflections, and more.

  1. I’m sorry for your struggles. I struggle with bipolar, just getting out of bed this morning for example sometimes feels even this huge burden. Feel free to share anything you’re learning in school with me that might help ;0)

  2. Hi Mary, Thanks for visiting and following my blog. You are on an exciting journey! I invite you to join the discussion on my blog ,and share your thoughts and travels with others. It’s also a great way to help people find your blog.

      1. Thank you for accepting..

        Hope you likes the song…

  3. Thanks for following my blog, Mary. I hope you enjoy reading.
I just read your ‘About’ section and while I don’t usually give out advice, I’d say that “striving for control over your life” is at best a waste of time. Letting go and going with what is gives much more interesting experiences. Same goes for striving for happiness. Don’t strive, just be it!
Warm wishes to you and hope to get to read a bit more of your blog soon. x
